The Custom Silicon Architect - Camera Hardware joins the Camera Hardware Engineering group to drive the design and innovation of camera systems across various product lines. In this role, you will architect and develop custom silicon ICs that push the boundaries of computational photography. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in optics, controls, mechanics, and imaging to define silicon requirements and partner with design vendors from architecture definition through silicon delivery. Key responsibilities include providing guidance for verification and validation plans, driving the development of emulation platforms using discrete component designs or FPGA implementations, and reviewing board-level designs. Required expertise includes analog/mixed-signal IC development, low-power, low-noise sensing, signal processing, and hardware/firmware partitioning.
