Current Master's, AI Engineering Internship Program - Summer 2027 offers a specialized experience within the Intelligent Foundations and Experiences team. To succeed, you must be proficient in Python, Go, Scala, or Java, and have experience with PyTorch, AWS Ultraclusters, and agentic frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex. You will solve complex problems involving the integration of generative AI workflows into scalable, high-performance infrastructure to deliver advanced banking services.

What you'll do

Prototype and ship AI-native products that reach millions of customers.
Research, prototype, and productionalize high-impact systems like multimodal search and intelligent document processing.
Design and optimize critical infrastructure including fine-tuning pipelines, reinforcement learning, and inference optimization.
Implement robust guardrails and sophisticated evaluation frameworks for AI models.
Architect agentic workflows that enable AI systems to autonomously navigate tools and orchestrate multi-step reasoning.
Integrate AI workflows with complex microservice environments and existing system design principles.
Develop and deploy scalable, high-performance AI infrastructure using PyTorch and AWS Ultraclusters.

What we're looking for

Pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Expected graduation date must be on or before August 2028.
At least 6 months of experience or academic work developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies.
At least 6 months of experience or academic work programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
Experience or academic work deploying AI/ML systems on cloud platforms (preferred).
Experience or academic work in optimizing AI/ML training or inference pipelines using distributed GPU frameworks (preferred).
Experience or academic work with AI/ML domains such as LLM Inference, NLP, or Computer Vision (preferred).
Familiarity with Agentic Frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or Autogen (preferred).
