Machine Learning Intern (Masters) - Summer 2027 will join the engineering team to develop a global infrastructure system for a three-sided marketplace. The intern will conduct research in areas such as Auction, Game theory, Recommender systems, Ranking, AdTech, Computer Vision, Causal Inference, and Big data analytics. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and synthesizing findings from data to build relevant machine learning models, writing clean and sustainable code, and executing research ideas to improve product experiences in discovery, ads, forecasting, fulfillment, and search. The role requires proficiency in at least one systems language like Java, C++, Python, Kotlin, or GoLang, or an ML framework such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MLFlow. Candidates should have experience in solving analytical problems and a background in fields like NLP, Statistics, or Information Sciences.

  • Conduct research applicable across various engineering teams within the company.
  • Solve complex analytical problems using advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.

What we're looking for

  • Must be pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, ML, NLP, Statistics, Information Sciences, or a related field.
  • Must be graduating between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
  • Must have mastery of at least one systems language such as Java, C++, Python, Kotlin, or GoLang.
  • Must have mastery of at least one ML framework such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MLFlow.
  • Must have experience in research and solving analytical problems.
  • Must be a strong communicator and team player.
  • Must be able to write clean, efficient, and sustainable code.
  • Experience with publications in machine learning, AI, data science, data analytics, statistics, or related technical fields (preferred).
