CPU Design Verification Engineer

What you'll do

• Verify the functional correctness of specific CPU design areas.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and verification environments.
• Create tests using assembly, C, or vectors based on established plans.
• Build coverage monitors to track and ensure all test cases are executed.
• Analyze coverage data to identify and address gaps in the verification process.
• Develop checkers and SystemVerilog or C-based transactors to verify design logic.

What we're looking for

• Minimum BS degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Academic and industry experience in CPU architecture, digital logic design, chip architecture, and microarchitecture.
• Programming experience in C, C++, or SystemVerilog.
• Experience developing testplans/testbenches, C-based transactors, or writing and debugging tests.
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (preferred).
• Experience with advanced verification techniques (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently on verification efforts (preferred).
