The CPG Tech Lead Engineer SAP S/4 HANA FICO-MM-AA joins the CAO Technology team to support the Corporate Properties Group during its SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role involves designing, developing, and configuring SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions to support accounting, capital projects, asset management, and real estate business processes. You will lead complex initiatives by defining strategies, architecting end-to-end workflows, and performing hands-on functional engineering. Key responsibilities include managing data flow models, APIs, BAPIs, and integrations across internal systems and SaaS platforms. You will utilize expertise in FI, CO, AA, CO-PA, and PS modules to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. The role requires proficiency in synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns, REST APIs, ETL, and ELT processes to solve complex cross-application integration challenges within a corporate real estate context.
Design, develop, and configure SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions for accounting, capital projects, and real estate processes.
Lead enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA Finance initiatives by defining strategy and delivering scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Financial Accounting, Controlling, Asset Accounting, and Profitability Analysis modules.
Architect end-to-end solutions including business workflows, data flow models, APIs, BAPIs, and cross-platform integrations.
Perform hands-on functional engineering including testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting SAP functionality and conversions.
Lead finance integration design using synchronous and asynchronous patterns, messaging, and event-based processing.
Support SAP S/4HANA transformation activities including fit-to-standard workshops, data conversion validation, and cutover planning.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers on SAP Finance modules, integration patterns, and data best practices.
What we're looking for
5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
5+ years of technology delivery and relationship management experience in a large corporate environment.
5+ years of hands-on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA configuration experience supporting enterprise Finance business processes.
5+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) configuration and solution delivery experience across core financial accounting, controlling, asset accounting, and profitability analysis.
5+ years of experience designing, configuring, testing, and supporting financial accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and month-end close processes.
5+ years of hands-on configuration experience with SAP data integration solutions including REST APIs, ETL, and event-based processing.
5+ years of experience supporting large-scale SAP implementation, modernization, or transformation initiatives.
Strong consulting, leadership, and communication skills (preferred).
