The Consulting Manager - Asset Finance joins the Cognizant Consulting team to lead production support, ongoing development, and platform enhancements for InfoLease and Rapport solutions. This role serves as the primary bridge between Asset Finance business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into technical specifications. Key responsibilities include managing incident, problem, and change management processes, overseeing testing, release management, and UAT coordination, and mentoring a support and development team. The position requires expertise in equipment finance, leasing, and loan accounting workflows. Candidates must possess hands-on experience with InfoLease and Rapport (Solifi) platforms, SQL, and reporting tools. Proficiency in Agile delivery practices, Jira, or Azure DevOps is essential for managing sprint planning and backlog tasks within complex enterprise environments.
Lead application support and development activities for InfoLease and Rapport platforms to ensure system stability and performance.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for support and enhancement initiatives.
Manage incident, problem, and change management processes as the primary escalation point for production issues.
Oversee testing, release management, UAT coordination, and deployment activities for system upgrades.
Lead and mentor a support and development team while driving Agile delivery practices.
Perform system configuration, testing, and implementation activities within InfoLease and Rapport environments.
Manage operational reporting, risk management, and adherence to established SLAs.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience in Equipment Finance, Leasing, Asset Finance, or related financial services domains.
5+ years of hands-on experience supporting, configuring, implementing, or enhancing InfoLease and/or Rapport (Solifi) platforms.
Deep understanding of equipment finance lease and loan accounting, loan origination processes, servicing operations, and portfolio management workflows.
Experience performing system configuration, testing, implementation, and platform enhancement activities within InfoLease and/or Rapport environments.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience leading requirements gathering, UAT coordination, testing cycles, and production support processes including incident triage and root cause analysis.
Working knowledge of SQL and reporting tools to support data investigation and issue analysis.
Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management in Jira or Azure DevOps.
2+ years of experience in people management, supervisory, or team leadership roles (preferred).
Familiarity with ITIL processes and experience managing SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics (preferred).
