What you'll do

  • Design, develop, test, and document new applications and enhancements on the Oracle APEX platform.
  • Analyze functional business requirements to create technical specifications and develop corresponding software solutions.
  • Identify minimum viable product requirements by engaging with stakeholders and internal engineering teams.
  • Ensure all developed solutions comply with established security, architecture, and data integrity standards.
  • Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and reverse engineering of existing applications and data integrations.
  • Create detailed user and technical documentation to communicate system designs clearly.
  • Maintain and enforce coding standards for APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, and JavaScript development.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a Federal Security clearance.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the Information Technology field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Oracle APEX, including recent releases such as 21.x.
  • In-depth knowledge of logical/physical database design and strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Intermediate or better experience in modern web technologies like HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Thorough understanding of application development, project lifecycle, and associated methodologies.
  • Awareness of libraries such as the Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (JET) (preferred); Millennium applications experience (preferred).
