Construction Project Manager- Apple Park Zone As part of the Places Construction team, you will serve as the primary delivery owner for a high-volume portfolio of complex capital projects within the Apple Park zone. Your daily responsibilities involve overseeing design-build procurement, managing project financials, coordinating MEP and process utility designs, and ensuring all work adheres to high architectural standards while operating on a live, occupied campus. You will navigate the challenges of construction within an active environment by developing phasing strategies that minimize disruption. The role requires expertise in construction management, engineering, or architecture, along with proficiency in tools like Procore, Primavera, MS Project, and Bluebeam. You must possess strong systems thinking to manage technical requirements for lab environments and complex infrastructure projects.

What you'll do

  • Manage a high-volume portfolio of concurrent construction projects including lab fit-outs and R&D workspace upgrades.
  • Lead the design-build process by selecting vendors, defining performance criteria, and holding teams accountable to scope and quality.
  • Translate complex technical requirements from internal stakeholders into actionable design and construction specifications.
  • Develop phasing strategies to execute construction within a live, occupied campus while minimizing noise and disruption.
  • Oversee complex MEP and process utility designs for specialized laboratory environments and infrastructure improvements.
  • Manage project financials across the portfolio, including budget development, cost tracking, and forecasting.
  • Enforce high standards of craftsmanship and safety while managing change orders and site logistics.
  • Coordinate final commissioning, punch list resolution, and the delivery of all required project documentation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 6-8+ years of progressive experience in construction project management with a portfolio of complex projects delivered concurrently.
  • Proven experience managing high volumes of simultaneous projects, including owning 10+ projects at various stages of the lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering design-build projects, including vendor selection and integrated team management.
  • Proven track record managing technically complex spaces such as lab, R&D, and product development environments with MEP-intensive fit-outs.
  • Experience delivering construction projects within occupied buildings or active campuses involving complex coordination and phasing.
  • Expertise in managing project financials across a portfolio, including budget creation, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Primavera, MS Project, or Bluebeam.
  • Experience working in high-design architectural environments where aesthetic quality and material finishes are non-negotiable (preferred).
  • Ability to drive progress across large, diverse cross-functional teams through collaboration and influence (preferred).
