What you'll do

Define the multi-year roadmap and platform strategy for Confluent Cloud Networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Establish frameworks and standards for evaluating networking decisions, cost attribution, and security controls.
Drive architectural decisions in partnership with engineering leadership to balance user experience, cost, and complexity.
Identify and build business cases for expanding into adjacent areas like network observability and cost transparency.
Mentor senior product managers and improve team quality regarding research and decision-making.
Align stakeholders across sales, legal, and security teams to secure executive investment for platform initiatives.
Define success metrics connecting technical milestones to business outcomes like revenue, retention, and infrastructure efficiency.
Engage directly with enterprise customers and architects to represent the product roadmap in technical discussions.

What we're looking for

Master's Degree (preferred).
MBA degree (preferred).
8+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years owning cloud infrastructure, platform, or networking products.
Proven track record of setting product strategy and roadmaps at a platform or portfolio level.
Deep fluency in cloud networking concepts across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including PrivateLink, VNet peering, Transit Gateway, and DNS.
Experience managing products for enterprise customers with complex compliance, security, and connectivity requirements.
Ability to partner with engineering leadership on architectural decisions and mentor other product managers (preferred).
Familiarity with Envoy, Service Mesh, Kubernetes, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code workflows (preferred).
Experience in product-led growth or usage-based pricing environments for cloud infrastructure (preferred).
