Configuration Manager

What you'll do

• Execute configuration management activities based on the specific plans defined for each program.
• Manage the end-to-end configuration control process including engineering releases and critical control forums like CCB and CRB.
• Coordinate and lead functional and physical configuration audits to ensure data accuracy.
• Oversee the documentation, review, and communication of all engineering change requests (ECRs) and notices (ECNs).
• Analyze product baselines such as EBOMs and MBOMs in Teamcenter for compliance with industry standards.
• Perform periodic audits of as-built records to ensure they match product definition data.
• Serve as the expert resource for Engineering Release and Change Management standards for internal teams.
• Provide guidance to engineering teams on configuring manufacturing and service bills of materials.

What we're looking for

• Must have 5+ years of direct product configuration management experience including parts, drawings, and requirements.
• Must have 5+ years of experience in high complexity and high-rate production environments like aerospace or automotive.
• Familiarity with configuration management principles and practices such as EIA649/C and MIL-HDBK-61B is required.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and data management toolsets for complex products is required.
• Must possess a BA/BS degree in an engineering discipline like Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Nuclear, or Manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Strong communication skills to synthesize complex quantitative data into clear decision statements are required.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required.
