Configuration Manager

What you'll do

• Execute configuration management activities based on the specific plans defined for each program.
• Manage end-to-end configuration control processes including engineering releases and critical control forums like CCB and CRB.
• Build and maintain configuration status accounting dashboards to ensure critical data is captured and distributed.
• Coordinate and lead functional and physical configuration audits (FCA/PCA) to ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage the end-to-end change management process by documenting, reviewing, and communicating engineering change requests.
• Analyze product baselines including EBOM and MBOM in Teamcenter for compliance with industry and organizational standards.
• Model and manage Engineering changes using Teamcenter software for parts, revisions, and documentation modifications.
• Provide guidance to engineering teams on configuring Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service Bills of Materials.

What we're looking for

• Must have 5+ years of direct product configuration management experience in structure, parts, drawings, and requirements.
• Must have 5+ years of experience in high complexity and high-rate production environments like aerospace or automotive.
• Must possess a BA/BS degree in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Nuclear, or Manufacturing.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Familiarity with configuration management principles and practices including EIA649/C and MIL-HDBK-61B.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and data management toolsets for complex products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to synthesize complex quantitative data into clear decision statements.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
