What you'll do

  • Perform daily monitoring, operations, and maintenance of C2BMC-G mission and training systems in a 24x7 environment.
  • Provide first-level technical support and initial troubleshooting for local hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Monitor, analyze, and document system events while reporting issues and status updates to leadership.
  • Execute tasks and mission timelines for real-world and test events as directed by leadership.
  • Assist in the maintenance and administration of user accounts to support access control and security practices.
  • Coordinate with internal and external agencies to troubleshoot data flow issues and restore network connectivity.
  • Operate and sustain mission systems to ensure availability, performance, and reliability for supported missions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational runbooks, procedures, and technical documentation.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2 years of experience, a Master’s degree, or 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must possess a current, active Government-issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Must possess a current, active Government-issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher.
  • Must be able to work rotating 24/7 shifts.
  • Must have experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems or networking environments.
  • Must have experience in system and/or network administration including UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
  • Must have experience troubleshooting hardware and software components across complex, distributed systems.
  • Must have experience with data flow usage and troubleshooting network connectivity with internal and external agencies.
  • Experience with C2BMC or other Missile Defense Systems (preferred).
  • Linux certification such as Linux Essentials, Linux+, LPIC-1, or RHCSA (preferred).
  • Experience using Confluence and Jira for documentation and collaboration (preferred).
  • Basic scripting experience in Bash to automate routine tasks (preferred).
  • Active Directory experience supporting account and group management in an enterprise environment (preferred).
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
