  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create accurate machine tool programs.
  • Optimize tool paths and machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues and machine errors on the shop floor.
  • Maintain and update CNC program libraries and technical documentation.
  • Conduct trial runs and adjust programs to ensure precision and quality standards.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles and conduct time studies to improve production efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software and G-code programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Knowledge of materials and machining techniques specific to aerospace components.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
