As a CNC Programmer for the Precision Structures & Optics team, you will join a cross-functional group dedicated to developing and optimizing manufacturing processes involving CNC machinery. You will be responsible for creating precise programs that control machine tools to ensure aerospace components are produced accurately and efficiently. Your daily work involves interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, writing G-code, optimizing tool paths, and troubleshooting machine errors. To succeed, you must possess proficiency in CAD/CAM software, a strong understanding of DNC systems, and knowledge of GD&T. You will also apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve production cycles.
