The CMDB and Attack Surface Management Support - ServiceNow Developer joins a team dedicated to building reliable configuration management data. You will design and develop ServiceNow solutions to accelerate CMDB practices and Attack Surface Management initiatives. Daily responsibilities include building Workspace views, Platform Analytics dashboards, indicators, Service Catalog items, and data quality automation. You will also configure CMDB Health and Relationship Health rules, manage ownership routing, and reconcile discovered CI data across sources. Key technologies include ServiceNow Discovery, Flow Designer, GlideAjax, and scripted REST APIs, alongside REST, JSON, and GraphQL. You must apply ITIL Configuration Management and CSDM framework principles to solve data quality gaps, manage CI lifecycles, and translate security and governance requirements into technical business outcomes for technical and executive audiences.
Design and develop ServiceNow CMDB solutions including Workspace views, Service Catalog items, and data quality automation.
Build Platform Analytics dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards to track CI ownership and Attack Surface Management metrics.
Configure CMDB Health and Relationship Health rules to monitor and improve data quality across the platform.
Validate Discovery data ingestion and reconcile discovered CI data across multiple sources with infrastructure SMEs.
Translate business requirements into ServiceNow-ready user stories, acceptance criteria, and UAT scenarios.
Manage the CMDB enhancement backlog by intake, structuring, and prioritizing development tasks.
Develop knowledge articles to support stakeholder self-service and ongoing CMDB practice improvements.
What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification and Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (CIS-DF) CMDB and CSDM Certification.
3+ years of experience developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, including forms, workflows, business rules, script includes, UI policies, and ACLs.
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow CMDB operations, CI relationship health, and data quality maintenance.
2+ years of experience with ServiceNow Discovery in an analyst capacity, including reviewing discovered CI data and reconciling data from multiple sources.
2+ years of experience building Performance Analytics or Platform Analytics indicators, KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards.
2+ years of experience developing ServiceNow Service Catalog items and workflows.
