CMDB and Attack Surface Management Support - ServiceNow Developer
As a key technical contributor on the CMDB team, you will design and develop ServiceNow solutions to accelerate Configuration Management Database practices and Attack Surface Management initiatives. You will build configured capabilities including Workspace views, Platform Analytics dashboards, Service Catalog items, and data quality automation while managing CI relationship health and ownership routing. Your daily work involves partnering with platform teams and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical user stories and acceptance criteria. You will utilize ServiceNow tools such as Discovery, Flow Designer, GlideAjax, and scripted REST APIs, while working with GraphQL and JSON. The role requires expertise in ITIL Configuration Management, CSDM framework, and CI lifecycle management to resolve data quality gaps and ensure reliable information for security and operational prioritization across millions of configuration items.
Design and develop ServiceNow CMDB solutions including Workspace views, Platform Analytics dashboards, and Service Catalog items.
Configure CMDB Health and Relationship Health rules, ownership routing, and data quality automation.
Build analytics indicators, KPIs, and scorecards to track CI health and Attack Surface Management metrics.
Validate Discovery data ingestion and reconcile discovered CI data across multiple sources with infrastructure SMEs.
Translate complex business requirements into ServiceNow-ready user stories, acceptance criteria, and UAT scenarios.
Manage the CMDB enhancement backlog by prioritizing tasks and tracking dependencies for the platform team.
Create knowledge articles to enable stakeholders to self-serve and improve the CMDB practice.
What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree is required.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (CIS-DF) certifications are required.
3+ years of experience developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions including forms, workflows, business rules, script includes, UI policies, and ACLs.
3+ years of experience with ServiceNow CMDB operations, CI relationship health, and data quality management.
2+ years of experience with ServiceNow Discovery in an analyst capacity to identify pattern issues and reconcile data.
2+ years of experience building Performance Analytics or Platform Analytics indicators, KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards.
2+ years of experience developing ServiceNow Service Catalog items and workflows.
