Cloud Computing Application Architect, Mid

What you'll do

• Design secure, cloud-based communications networks to support mission-critical operations.
• Develop cloud-based solutions to address complex GEOINT challenges.
• Inform strategy and design to ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.
• Recommend specific tools and solutions based on research of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid resources.
• Lead a team to overcome difficult technical challenges in the cloud.
• Deploy hybrid solutions using cloud-native tools like Kubernetes, EKS, ECR, or OpenSearch.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) tools.
• Optimize workflows through automation and cloud-based security improvements.

What we're looking for

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of experience in AWS is required.
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing cloud solutions using cloud-native tools such as Kubernetes, EKS, ECR, or OpenSearch is required.
• Experience using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) tools is required.
• Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle is required.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools is required.
• Ability to deploy hybrid solutions with cloud or on-premises infrastructure or multi-cloud strategies is required.
• Experience operating within an Agile environment (preferred).
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization (preferred).
• Experience working with multiple CSPs such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle (preferred).
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
