The Cloud Platforms Director joins the Cloud & Compute Platforms team to evolve the strategic direction of cloud infrastructure and platforms. This leader will manage global teams of engineers, develop strategic roadmaps aligned with business goals, and oversee a distributed cloud core infrastructure that is resilient, automated, and secure. The role involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and running service lines to automate workloads while monitoring industry trends. Key technical requirements include expertise in hybrid environments, networking, identity, and security frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2. Candidates should possess skills in Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and AI guardrails. What we're looking for
10+ years of experience in cloud platform management, IT infrastructure, or related fields.
A 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
Ability to create executive-level proposals and communications for technical, business, and financial leaders.
Proven track record of leading infrastructure operations teams, preferably in a global environment (preferred).
Strong understanding of security, identity, networking, cloud technologies, and hybrid environments.
Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
Experience with disaster recovery planning, incident management, and operational risk mitigation in regulated industries or high-availability environments.
AWS or other public Cloud Service Provider certifications (preferred).
