Cloud Network Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement secure network architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement zero-trust principles, network segmentation, and end-to-end encrypted connectivity patterns.
• Configure and manage cloud-native firewalls, security groups, and intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor network traffic for anomalies and remediate vulnerabilities identified during penetration testing.
• Automate security policy enforcement and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop Python scripts to automate repetitive network tasks and manage complex workflows.
• Lead the adoption of AI-driven engineering practices to reduce operational toil and improve developer experience.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation on security best practices for internal teams.

What we're looking for

• Experience of 5+ years in cloud network engineering and security.
• Expertise in network security protocols including IPSec, TLS, MacSec, and encryption standards.
• Proficiency with cloud networking services such as VPC, VNets, Subnets, and Load Balancers.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible for automation.
• Proficiency in Python scripting to automate network tasks and manage workflows.
• Proficiency in AI tooling and innovation.
• Knowledge of containerized microservice orchestration, Network Policies, Istio, Calico, and OCI standards (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CKS, CISSP, or CCSP (preferred).
