As a Cloud Engineer, you will join the team to manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments while providing advanced consulting and technical expertise. You will work with minimal direction to develop innovative solutions for complex problems, mentor team members, and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness. Your daily responsibilities include provisioning and triaging networking, storage, memory, and compute instances within AWS infrastructure and the Army's integrated systems. The role requires proficiency in tools such as Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, CloudFormation, GitHub, and GitLab. You will utilize skills in DevSecOps processes, Linux, and cloud-native solution development to ensure continuous automation across multiple technical stacks. Candidates must possess a Secret clearance and relevant certifications like Security+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, SSCP, CISSP, or DoD IAT Level II or III.
Manage, administer, and enhance cloud environments to ensure continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution.
Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or performance slowness.
Provision and troubleshoot infrastructure components including networking, computing, memory, and storage for cloud instances.
Develop enterprise cloud-native solutions using tools like Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and CloudFormation.
Automate builds and create continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure and integrated systems within the cloud.
Mentor and supervise team members while working independently to solve complex problems.
What we're looking for
High school diploma or GED.
CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, SSCP, CISSP, or DoD IAT Level II or III Certification.
2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS, networking, storage, and DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and CloudFormation.
2+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
