Cloud Engineer III

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain dbt projects including models, macros, snapshots, and transformation frameworks.
• Build and maintain enterprise data pipelines using dbt Core, SQL, and Python.
• Develop dimensional data models such as star schemas and snowflake schemas for reporting and analytics.
• Manage cloud data warehouse solutions using AWS services like Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lambda.
• Integrate data from various sources including APIs, SaaS applications, and healthcare platforms.
• Optimize data structures and query performance for large-scale analytical workloads.
• Implement CI/CD deployment processes and automated testing for dbt projects.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models and reusable transformation logic.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in data warehousing, cloud data engineering, or related data platform roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with dbt Core including models, macros, snapshots, tests, and transformation frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for complex joins, window functions, common table expressions, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering, automation, and scripting.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise cloud data warehouse solutions using Amazon Redshift and other AWS services.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modeling techniques including fact tables, dimensions, star schemas, and slowly changing dimensions.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern software development best practices in Agile environments.
