Cloud Application Admin

What you'll do

• Operate, maintain, and secure cloud tenants within Microsoft Azure or equivalent CSP environments.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, STIGs, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards.
• Implement governance controls such as Azure Policy, Blueprints, and tagging to maintain configuration standardization.
• Administer Navy Flank Speed Cloud Applications including server-based systems, security devices, and network storage.
• Maintain systems patches and security posture while authoring shell scripts to improve administration productivity.
• Aggregate custom detections and alerts into a cloud-native SIEM for incident detection.
• Provide on-the-job training for KQL and Navy-owned Microsoft products to government and military analysts.
• Assist in the development of a standardized cloud-based case management system.

What we're looking for

• Current TOP SECRET Security Clearance.
• BS or Masters degree.
• 7 - 10 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Administrator in an enterprise level cloud computing environment.
• 3 years of experience working with RMF-based Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) documentation.
• Azure Fundamentals Certification.
• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification.
• Proficiency in applying STIGs on cloud-based systems.
• Familiarity with enterprise backup software, administration, and enterprise storage concepts.
