Cloud Application Architect

What you'll do

• Design and architect efficient cloud solutions to automate and shorten the software development lifecycle.
• Streamline software development from development to production using cloud-native managed services.
• Lead efforts to incorporate open-source tools, automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment mechanisms for mission-critical intelligence applications.
• Develop and maintain microservice architectures using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux server systems within the cloud environment.
• Provide high availability and resilient solutions using clustering and failover methods.
• Perform application performance analysis and monitoring using tools like ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience with cloud application development.
• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex cloud applications at enterprise scale.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS.
• 5+ years of experience with microservices and containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
• 2+ years of experience developing and deploying microservice architectures.
• Experience with scripting languages and deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems in the Cloud.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of technology experience, or 11+ years of technology experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date.
• Experience with developing CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
• Experience with Serverless, including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and SAM (preferred).
• Experience with securing and hardening operating systems, applications, and containers (preferred).
• Experience with application management, high availability, performance analysis, and monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana (preferred).
• Experience with an Agile release methodology (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology (preferred).
• Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification (preferred).
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, Kubernetes Administrator Certification, or Certified Terraform Associate Certification (preferred).
