What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end architecture of the vehicle-to-mission interface layer.
  • Design hardware and software layers for vehicle translation, communication, and mission kit integration.
  • Define standardized APIs, data models, and ICDs to abstract vehicle systems into reusable services.
  • Architect managed power and compute systems for ruggedized platforms.
  • Build a plug-and-play framework for mission kit deployment.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams through the full product lifecycle from concept to production.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Master of Science degree in mechanical, electrical, systems engineering, or computer science is preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in complex system architecture and integration.
  • 5+ years of experience leading multi-disciplined teams developing software-enabled hardware products.
  • Expertise in vehicle electrical and power systems including 12-28V architecture, conversion, distribution, and load management.
  • Expertise in embedded systems and ruggedized compute platforms.
  • Experience applying safety-critical frameworks including hazard analysis and safety case development.
  • Active Secret Clearance or higher is preferred.
