Cellular System Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform pre- and post-silicon bring-up and validation of end-to-end cellular systems.
• Map system algorithms and requirements to hardware and firmware architectures.
• Conduct simulation and emulation based validation of control flows and algorithms.
• Design, implement, and productize sophisticated transceiver architectures.
• Execute hands-on verification and validation of silicon to support productization.
• Use lab equipment like spectrum analyzers and signal generators for real silicon bring-up.
• Develop automation scripts and perform data analysis using Matlab, Python, and C/C++.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to solve complex engineering problems using real-world datasets.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree is required, with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of communication theory and signal processing including AGC, beamforming, Tx power control, and calibration algorithms.
• Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and C/C++ for analysis and automation scripting.
• Experience in the design and bring-up of wireless communication systems with cellular expertise.
• Strong technical background in 5G-NR, LTE, UMTS, 3G, and 2G physical layer and protocols.
• Hands-on experience in silicon prototyping, emulation systems, virtual platforms, and lab equipment like spectrum analyzers.
• Experience applying AI/ML techniques to real-world data sets for engineering problems.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional environments.
