Staff Data Scientist, Pricing

What you'll do

• Model price elasticity and willingness-to-pay across different segments, geographies, and payment methods.
• Design and execute pricing experiments using A/B testing, difference-in-differences, and bandit-based dynamic tests.
• Build the intelligence systems that power automated deal tools for rate recommendations and mispricing detection.
• Monitor AI systems for accuracy, drift, and bias to ensure reliable automated pricing performance.
• Develop and maintain self-serve dashboards and curated datasets for tracking margin leakage and win/loss analysis.
• Write code to process, cleanse, and combine diverse data sources into usable ETL pipelines.
• Measure the impact of AI-driven automation on deal velocity and profit margins using causal inference methods.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, economics, or a similar STEM field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• A graduate degree in statistics, data science, economics, or a similar STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in causal inference and experimentation with hands-on experience modeling price elasticity or willingness-to-pay.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
• Proficiency in scripting and data analysis programming languages such as Python or R.
• Deep knowledge of cohort and funnel analyses and statistical concepts like selection bias and probability distributions.
• Experience using AI tools for modeling and a working understanding of LLMs, RAG systems, and agentic AI architectures.
• Experience in pricing-adjacent domains such as risk-based pricing, pricing science, or deal pricing analytics is preferred.
