What you'll do

Own the full machine learning lifecycle from problem framing and data exploration to deployment and monitoring.
Design and implement advanced ML and statistical models for menu recommendations, demand forecasting, and guest personalization.
Guide architectural decisions and establish modeling standards for experimentation, validation, and productionization.
Mentor other data scientists and conduct design reviews to raise the team's technical bar.
Identify areas where data science can create business value and lead cross-functional efforts to drive those opportunities.
Build services on top of LLMs in a large-scale production environment.
Translate ambiguous problems into well-scoped ML solutions using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms like AWS.

What we're looking for

7+ years of experience in data science delivering production ML systems.
Deep knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning (tree-based, time series, deep learning), and model evaluation.
Experience with distributed data processing, real-time inference, and MLOps frameworks.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks like scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
Strong grasp of software engineering principles including modular design, version control, testing, and CI/CD.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and tools like SageMaker, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, and Bedrock.
Experience leading experimentation, causal inference, and building services on top of LLMs in production environments.
Prior experience mentoring other data scientists or acting as a technical lead.
