Senior Data Engineer, Product

What you'll do

• Create and optimize data models for eventing, customer-level, and process-level data using AI-assisted tools.
• Take technical ownership of critical data pipelines for customer datasets, money movements, and experimentation platforms.
• Build monitoring systems to assess data quality and lineage while developing AI agents for automated issue resolution.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to monitor daily execution, diagnose issues, and fix business-critical pipelines.
• Translate business requirements from non-technical partners into applicable data requirements and automated end-to-end solutions.
• Transform raw event streams and transactional systems into governed, tested, and reliable analytical assets.
• Deliver metrics and ML-ready datasets to support product growth across banking, lending, and commerce domains.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
• High proficiency in SQL, Python, and Dbt.
• Experience designing medium-to-large data engineering solutions across the entire project lifecycle.
• Experience with ETL scheduling technologies with dependency checking, such as Airflow or Prefect.
• Experience in schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with setting up data quality and data lineage monitoring.
• Experience with data driven decisions through AI and agentic automation.
