What you'll do

Lead the design and roadmap for the company's data platform.

Execute data transformations using SQLMesh with version control, testing, and CI/CD practices.
Manage data lake queries and infrastructure using AWS Athena and Apache Iceberg.
Orchestrate scalable data workflows using Flyte on Kubernetes.
Operate in a player-coach capacity by leading team members while remaining hands-on as a contributor.

What we're looking for

Must have 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role building products.
Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for export-controlled information or facilities.
Must have good foundations in Python or another programming language.
Experience with Spark, PySpark, SQL, and dbt is required.
Experience with Enterprise Data Systems like Palantir Foundry is required.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystems, containerization, and associated tooling is required.
Knowledge of data and visualization tools such as Tableau is required.
Must be able to own the design, roadmap, and debugging of complex data transformation pipelines.
