We are seeking a Senior Support Engineer to join our dynamic team dedicated to resolving complex technical issues on a leading-edge big data platform. Familiarity with Hadoop core services, messaging systems such as Kafka, and file formats including JSON is essential, along with strong communication abilities to document findings effectively.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

BS/MS in computer science or related field.
3+ years of software support and troubleshooting experience.
Extensive programming background in shell scripting, Java, SQL, Python, R.
Hands-on experience with IP networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls).
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux command line.
Familiarity with Hadoop core services and messaging systems like Flume, Kafka, Solr.
Excellent communication skills for documenting and sharing findings.
