What you'll do

  • Define and classify critical business data elements with clear definitions and metadata.
  • Develop plans to deliver product data that supports strategic objectives, operations, and reporting.
  • Publish curated data to the data lake while ensuring scalable and governed data products.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks related to data protection, retention, destruction, storage, use, and quality.
  • Create operational procedures for data development and delivery to standardize quality and controls.
  • Investigate root causes of data issues with technology teams and recommend remediation steps.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to apply emerging technologies and automation in data management.

What we're looking for

  • Six years of industry experience in a data-related field.
  • Five years of experience in technology engineering and cloud modernization for data analytics on platforms such as AWS.
  • Expertise in SQL and strong understanding of database design and data manipulation.
  • Subject matter expertise in business or product data and processes.
  • Proficiency in Python for data management, automation, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines and keep teams on track to meet goals.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and solid business acumen.
  • Technical knowledge of data management, governance, big data platforms, and architecture (preferred); experience with real-time data movement, ML/AI, ETL, and visualization tools (preferred).
