As a Calibration Technician within the Enterprise Test Capabilities team, you will ensure the reliability, accuracy, and uptime of physical test equipment across multiple domains including thermal, battery, propulsion, aerodynamic, and structural testing. You will manage routine calibrations for instrumentation and data acquisition systems, oversee preventative maintenance schedules, and diagnose repairs involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems. The role requires maintaining detailed records per ISO 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540 standards while managing spare parts inventory and coordinating with external service providers. You will support equipment installations and upgrades while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Ideal candidates possess experience with test and measurement equipment in aerospace or defense environments, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with calibration management software to maintain a diverse fleet of tools used to validate complex products.
Perform routine calibration on various instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
Execute preventative maintenance across the full range of test equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system failures.
Manage the calibration schedule to ensure no lapses in equipment readiness.
Maintain detailed calibration records in compliance with ISO 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540 standards.
Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are available for repairs.
Support the installation, upgrade, and decommissioning of test equipment across all domains.
Monitor performance trends to recommend predictive maintenance actions for the equipment fleet.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual).
3+ years of hands-on calibration and maintenance experience with physical test or measurement equipment in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or lab environments.
Direct experience calibrating and maintaining diverse types of test equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
Working knowledge of calibration standards including ISO 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.
Demonstrated ability to maintain calibration records with full traceability.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and scheduling for a diverse equipment fleet.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
