Calibration Technician

What you'll do

• Manage the calibration database including tool locations, ownership tracking, and communication of recall notices.
• Coordinate equipment rotations to ensure production teams have continuous access to necessary resources.
• Build infrastructure for flagged assets, including drop locations, intake information, and vendor instructions.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation for the internal calibration program.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships by requesting quotes, creating purchase orders, and scheduling on-site services.
• Conduct risk assessments for products affected by tools found to be out of calibration.
• Ensure all calibrated tooling meets regulatory requirements and specific customer standards.

What we're looking for

• Associate degree in Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Military training or experience in PMEL, TMDE, or Electronics is acceptable as an educational substitute.
• Experience managing calibration within a large organization and production environment.
• Experience working with and managing third-party calibration vendors.
• Experience creating and improving processes and procedures specifically related to calibration.
• Familiarity with common industry calibration standards and methods.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or other external auditing and compliance agencies and standards.
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
