C-UAS Cyber Security Architect The C-UAS Cyber Security Architect leads end-to-end security architecture, risk analysis, and RMF/ATO strategy for the Army’s Counter-UAS Network Communication System (NCS). This role is responsible for designing secure architectures to protect M-LIDS and FS-LIDS systems supporting Short-Range Air Defense missions. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining trust boundaries, architecting encryption, identity management, and RBAC for tactical and DIL environments, while also designing secure cloud integration and zero-trust remote access for data pipelines. The position requires conducting threat modeling, providing security oversight to Agile engineering teams, and authoring critical RMF artifacts. Key technical requirements include expertise in DoD crypto standards, eMASS, and DevSecOps/CI-CD security architecture. Candidates must possess an active Secret clearance and certifications such as CISSP or CASP+ to manage the complex security needs of networked tactical systems within the C-UAS and SHORAD programs.
