JOB TITLE: Business Manager, Product Analytics
As a Manager for the Retail Bank’s Product Analytics team, you will apply decision science to drive product growth and influence the strategic roadmap. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, and Finance partners to identify high-leverage growth opportunities and quantify new product requirements. Your daily responsibilities include querying and transforming massive datasets, developing statistical models, and designing complex A/B/n tests using randomization, power calculations, and variance reduction to isolate customer incrementality. You will utilize SQL, Python, and R to perform exploratory analysis and create user segmentation frameworks. By translating complex behavioral data into actionable narratives, you will help prioritize builds and set goals, ultimately solving the business problem of identifying long-term customer value and establishing standardized KPI frameworks for the Retail Bank.
Translate complex behavioral data and user funnels into actionable product recommendations and feature requirements.
Design and interpret complex A/B/n tests using advanced statistical techniques to isolate customer incrementality.
Query, clean, and transform massive datasets using SQL, Python, or R.
Develop statistical models, user segmentation frameworks, and exploratory analysis to uncover engagement patterns.
Establish standardized KPI frameworks and facilitate peer review gates to maintain analytical integrity.
Synthesize multi-faceted data insights into clear, strategic narratives for executive communication.
Identify high-leverage growth opportunities and quantify new opportunities for the product roadmap.
What we're looking for
At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis.
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or related).
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration.
5+ years of experience in analysis (preferred).
2+ years of experience in financial services (preferred).
1+ year of experience in consulting (preferred).
2+ years of experience in people management (preferred).
Master’s Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, or Engineering (preferred).
