The Business Data Analyst / Methodologist supports an Intelligence Community customer by designing, implementing, and analyzing workforce surveys and business analytics initiatives. This role focuses on helping senior leaders understand workforce trends, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and operational challenges through data-driven insights. Key responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to develop survey strategies, facilitating focus groups, cleaning and validating data, and developing performance measures and dashboards. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with preferred experience in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, MS Access, and Oracle. Candidates will also leverage Large Language Models and AI-enabled tools to analyze open-ended survey responses. The work involves longitudinal analysis and translating complex datasets into actionable recommendations to influence workforce strategy and mission success.
Design, build, and manage workforce surveys using customer-provided platforms.
Plan and facilitate focus groups to gather and analyze qualitative findings.
Clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources for analysis.
Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify workforce trends and patterns.
Develop performance measures, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings.
Use Large Language Models and AI tools to analyze open-ended survey responses.
Produce executive-level briefing materials and presentations with actionable recommendations.
Support recurring survey programs and longitudinal analysis to track trends over time.
What we're looking for
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computational Social Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field emphasizing advanced data analytics.
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of advanced data analytics experience.
Master's degree with 6+ years of advanced data analytics experience.
Associate's degree with 13+ years of advanced data analytics experience.
Experience cleaning, preparing, and analyzing data from multiple sources to identify trends and business insights.
Experience developing performance measures and executive dashboards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, MS Access, or Oracle (preferred).
Experience supporting Intelligence Community customers or workforce analytics initiatives (preferred).
Familiarity with survey methodology, employee engagement research, or organizational assessments (preferred).
Experience using AI-enabled tools or Large Language Models for qualitative data analysis (preferred).
