Data Analyst

What you'll do

• Transform complex structured and unstructured data into actionable insights for Navy fleet readiness.
• Develop decision-making support products including dashboards, graphs, tables, and maps across multiple platforms.
• Use automation tools and scripts to streamline data processing and reporting workflows.
• Translate complex technical findings into clear narratives and written reports for non-technical leadership.
• Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive organizational decision-making.
• Research, develop, and test data methodologies to solve problems through large dataset analysis.
• Produce rapid-turnaround reports in response to high-priority leadership and congressional requests.
• Engage directly with clients to identify evolving needs and provide evidence-based recommendations.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data visualization.
• Experience in quantitative data analysis, performance measurement, data cleansing, metrics evaluation, and applied research.
• Ability to translate complex findings into clear narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently on large-scale initiatives and manage urgent requests.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Law, Engineering, Social Sciences, Physical Science, Applied Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Management.
• 3+ years of experience with data analysis or data visualization with Power BI, Excel, or Tableau (preferred).
• Experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL or similar tools (preferred).
