Business Analyst, Oracle CPQ

What you'll do

• Translate complex business requirements from stakeholders into detailed technical specifications for Oracle CPQ.
• Use generative AI tools to accelerate business documentation, process modeling, and automated test case generation.
• Ensure product configurations in Oracle CPQ are defect-free and adhere to orderability standards.
• Simplify Bills of Materials (BOMs), rule logic, and offering structures to reduce ordering complexity.
• Drive SKU reduction, product cancellation analysis, and catalog simplification activities.
• Design test plans and scripts to verify configuration rule changes and BOM accuracy.
• Partner with developers to clarify functional requirements and perform post-development validation.
• Coordinate with factory and supply chain teams to verify configuration rules and prevent fulfillment errors.

What we're looking for

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst gathering requirements and creating functional specifications for Oracle CPQ.
• Hands-on experience using modern AI tools like Google Gemini or ChatGPT for requirement drafting and test case generation.
• Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOM) and rule-based configuration models.
• Proven experience creating business process models to describe functional business requirements.
• Excellent requirement gathering, analytical problem-solving, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Technical understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, or scripting languages like Python (preferred).
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Applications such as Oracle EBS, PLM, or CPQ Admin features (preferred).
• Knowledge in the Telecommunications domain (preferred).
