Build Engineer Assistant Vice President Conversion

What you'll do

• Design, build, and deploy perimeter security solutions including firewalls, IDS, IPS, and VPNs.
• Integrate new security measures seamlessly into the existing network architecture.
• Manage and configure network routing protocols to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot routing issues and optimize network routes for efficiency.
• Configure security infrastructure specifically for high-level protection and performance.
• Document build processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure all implementation tasks comply with relevant security policies and regulatory standards.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in network security with a focus on infrastructure development and implementation.
• 2+ years of experience and strong familiarity with Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks, and Cisco technologies.
• Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and firewall management.
• Basic understanding of automation scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Ansible (preferred).
• Understanding of Cloud Security (preferred).
• Relevant certifications including CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CCSA, or PCNSA (preferred).
