Senior IT Systems Engineer, Cybersecurity & Networking

What you'll do

• Design and implement enterprise security architectures including EDR, DLP, MFA, and data encryption.
• Manage SIEM platforms to improve log collection, analysis, and threat detection capabilities.
• Lead technical efforts for NIST and CMMC compliance and oversee audit preparations.
• Act as the primary Incident Response Lead for triage, containment, and root-cause analysis.
• Deploy and maintain security-focused network infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Manage the Vulnerability Management Program by implementing automated scanning and driving remediation.
• Provide architectural guidance for Linux and Windows server environments to ensure secure baselines.
• Automate security policy enforcement and tool integration using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in Information Security Engineering focusing on enterprise-level system design and deployment.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing enterprise networking solutions with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or Fortinet.
• Expert-level knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments and security best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or equivalent tools.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining regulatory compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, or ISO 27001.
• Professional Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, or Certified CMMC Professional are preferred.
