The Bilingual (Spanish) Senior Manager, Account Executive Operations leads a high-performing team of operational professionals to deliver the Technical Quality of Acceptance strategy across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Mexico. This leadership role focuses on protecting the reliability of the merchant-to-acquirer payment ecosystem by monitoring strategic merchants and identifying emerging acceptance risks. The manager supervises the end-to-end diagnosis and remediation of technical breakages across POS, ecommerce, ATM environments, gateways, processors, and acquirers. Key responsibilities include mentoring staff, performing root-cause analysis, and managing cross-functional initiatives to improve technical resilience. The role requires fluency in Spanish and English, along with expertise in payment acquiring, merchant processing, and network operations. The position solves complex technical acceptance issues by aligning priorities across Strategy, Product, Technology, and Data teams.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of operational professionals across analytics, country acceptance, and referral investigation.
Translate global technical quality priorities into practical, market-specific operational plans for Latin America, the Caribbean, and Mexico.
Supervise the end-to-end diagnosis and remediation of technical acceptance breakages across the merchant, POS, ecommerce, and acquirer environments.
Apply disciplined problem-management practices including root-cause analysis, remediation ownership, progress tracking, and recovery validation.
Lead cross-functional regional initiatives to strengthen technical acceptance resilience and remove recurring failure modes.
Establish and maintain KPIs, playbooks, escalation paths, and operating controls for technical acceptance monitoring.
Represent the regional function in governance forums and executive updates to communicate risks, dependencies, and regional impacts.
Develop team and stakeholder capability through training on payment flows, failure modes, and investigation methods.
What we're looking for
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
At least 7 years of experience in technical acceptance, payment acquiring, merchant processing, payment operations, network operations, or payment technology.
At least 5 years of people leadership and performance management experience.
Fluency in both Spanish and English.
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
8+ years of experience in technical acceptance, payment acquiring, merchant processing, payment operations, network operations, or payment technology (preferred).
6+ years of people leadership and performance management experience (preferred).
Experience working for a global payment network, acquirer, merchant-services provider, processor, PSP, gateway, payment-orchestration platform, merchant, or ATM operator (preferred).
