Azure & Digital Workplace Service Owner

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact and escalation resource for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) regarding Azure operations.
• Provide expert guidance on Azure platform capabilities, service configurations, and best practices to MSP teams.
• Ensure all Azure services and deployments align with corporate security baselines, architectural patterns, and compliance frameworks.
• Manage cloud costs by tracking budgets, identifying optimization opportunities, and ensuring tagging compliance across Azure workloads.
• Facilitate the deployment of AI technologies while ensuring they meet data governance and infrastructure requirements.
• Automate routine administrative tasks and operational processes using PowerShell, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.
• Develop monitoring dashboards, technical documentation, and operational runbooks for Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
• Mentor MSP engineers on best practices for cloud management and endpoint security.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT infrastructure, cloud, or workplace technology experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering and administration experience.
• Expertise in Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity Services, Landing Zones, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Microsoft Defender Security Solutions.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation for routine administrative processes.
• Strong knowledge of cloud governance, operational excellence, and FinOps cost optimization practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical documentation skills to support MSPs and internal stakeholders.
