Managed Services Engineer, Azure

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and support Azure infrastructure including Qumulo file storage, Azure Files, Blob Storage, and Virtual Machines.
• Manage Windows and Linux servers using Tanium for patching and various tools for system administration.
• Implement and manage Azure-native monitoring, alerting, and reporting through Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Configure and maintain Azure load balancers and associated networking components to ensure high availability.
• Manage Zerto disaster recovery replication and Rubrik backup solutions within the Azure environment.
• Optimize Azure environments for performance, security, cost efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI to enable repeatable deployments.
• Engage directly with customers to resolve incidents, manage change requests, and deliver project requirements.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a managed services or Azure-focused engineering role.
• Hands-on experience supporting production Azure environments including compute, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
• Experience with Qumulo file storage, Zerto disaster recovery replication, and Rubrik backup solutions.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, and/or Azure CLI.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and SMB/NFS permissions and access control.
• Microsoft Azure Associate-level certification (AZ-104 or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• ITIL v3+ certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
