This position requires a deep understanding of medallion architecture and data modeling, along with the ability to optimize performance and cost across Azure environments while adhering to company-wide best practices for large-scale technology solutions.

What you'll do

  • Develop standards and best practices for engineering complex technology solutions in Azure Data Factory.
  • Build ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Synapse, Fabric Pipelines, and Power BI semantic models.
  • Implement secure data architectures with RBAC, Key Vault, and Private Endpoints.
  • Optimize performance of data assets using DirectLake, partitioning strategies, and query tuning.
  • Maintain and scale data models in ADLS, PySpark/Spark SQL, and Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Notebooks, SQL Analytics endpoints, and Synapse
  • 4+ years of expertise in Microsoft Fabric including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines, and Dataflows
  • 4+ years of proficiency in Power BI semantic modeling and report performance optimization
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, Delta Lake, medallion architecture, and data modeling
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
