What you'll do
Design and implement a robust service mesh architecture for microservices across hybrid cloud environments.
Integrate the service mesh with existing infrastructure to ensure seamless operation and interoperability.
Establish security policies and traffic routing rules to maintain a secure application environment.
Develop monitoring dashboards for deep insights into service mesh health and performance.
Guide engineers on service mesh principles, fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
Work closely with networking teams to address challenges in integrating the service mesh securely.
Partner with SREs to define observability strategies and error budgets for high availability.
What we're looking for
4+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing microservices architectures.
Deep expertise in service mesh technologies, particularly Istio, with hands-on implementation at scale.
Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms for networking, security, and management.
Strong programming skills in Go; Rust is a plus.
