What you'll do

Design and implement a robust service mesh architecture for microservices across hybrid cloud environments.
Integrate the service mesh with existing infrastructure to ensure seamless operation and interoperability.
Establish and enforce security policies and traffic routing rules for a reliable application environment.
Develop monitoring dashboards using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and Kiali for deep insights.
Guide engineers on service mesh principles and best practices to foster expertise within the team.
Work with networking and security teams to ensure secure integration of the service mesh with on-premises infrastructure.

What we're looking for

8+ years of professional experience in software engineering or DevOps.
4+ years of hands-on experience with Istio and service mesh technologies.
Deep expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
Strong programming skills, especially in Go; Rust is a plus.
Experience in Linux OS performance tuning, troubleshooting, and security.
Expertise in observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Kiali.
