The role requires expertise in Windows 10/11 Enterprise image engineering, Golden Image management, and GitOps methodologies to solve complex desktop delivery and infrastructure automation challenges within a VDI environment.

What you'll do

  • Lead discovery, assessment, sizing, and migration planning for AWS WorkSpaces transitions.
  • Design migration waves, pilot deployments, cutover strategies, and rollback procedures.
  • Architect both persistent and non-persistent desktop environments using FSLogix and Amazon FSx.
  • Define scaling, capacity planning, high availability, and disaster recovery architectures for WorkSpaces.
  • Establish enterprise Golden Image strategies and manage the image lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform modules for AWS WorkSpaces, VPC, and IAM infrastructure.
  • Build automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Implement GitOps methodologies to automate infrastructure deployment and compliance validation.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in AWS WorkSpaces (Personal and Pools) design and deployment.
  • Expertise in profile management technologies including FSLogix, User Profile Disks, and Amazon FSx.
  • Proficiency in App Layering technologies and application packaging.
  • Expert level proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of CloudFormation (preferred).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 Enterprise image engineering and Golden Image management.
  • Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and automated deployment pipelines.
