As an AWM:Product Owner / Business Analyst, you will join a team focused on leading high-impact migration initiatives from initial planning through end-to-end execution. You will partner with business, operations, data, and technology teams to ensure migrations are scoped, sequenced, and delivered successfully. Your daily responsibilities include managing product backlogs, defining requirements, writing user stories, and establishing acceptance criteria while coordinating User Acceptance Testing activities. You will also design processes, track migration timelines, and translate complex technical information into actionable plans for both technical and non-technical audiences. The role requires proficiency in handling large datasets and understanding data flows to solve problems within the wealth management and investment platform space. Preferred skills include experience with Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, or AI-assisted analyses to support your work in managing complex system changes and reporting needs.

What you'll do

  • Define product scope, priorities, milestones, and expected outcomes from ideation through delivery.
  • Manage and refine product backlogs to align with business goals and user needs.
  • Gather, document, and clarify business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and track issue resolution.
  • Drive migration timelines, tracking, controls, and reporting for project execution.
  • Define system rules, coding requirements, and reporting needs with technical subject matter experts.
  • Monitor key metrics, dependencies, and risks that could impact delivery timelines.
  • Create test plans, runbooks, training materials, and production rollout documentation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar delivery role.
  • Experience writing business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Comfort and strong attention to detail when working with large datasets and identifying issues.
  • Experience collaborating across business, operations, product, data, and technology teams.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear action plans for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data migrations (preferred).
  • Knowledge of wealth management, investment platforms, advisor workflows, or proficiency in Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, or AI-assisted analyses (preferred).
