AVP Tech Network Engineer, Security

What you'll do

• Design and engineer security solutions using Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Develop automation scripts using Python or PERL and leverage APIs for data exchange.
• Manage and operate VPN and Cisco ISE/NAC remote access environments.
• Implement auto-scaling firewall solutions within the AWS cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues and identify root causes to improve platform performance.
• Perform security hardening on platform devices to reduce the vulnerability footprint.
• Manage firewall service requests and optimize logging of traffic and rule-based activity.
• Maintain security baseline standards, technical design documentation, and network diagrams.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of Network and Security Engineering experience with products from Radware, Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto.
• 2+ years of experience with security technologies including DDoS, proxy, VPN, firewall orchestration, and network access control.
• 2+ years of experience in network security hardening, controls, and using monitoring/logging tools like SolarWinds or ELK.
• 2+ years of experience with network defense technology in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Hands-on engineering experience with Radware Defense Pro hardware and Cisco ISE.
• Knowledge of native firewalls in AWS and Azure.
• Bachelor’s Degree, CCNA/CCNP/CISSP certifications, scripting/automation tools, or Agile experience (preferred).
