Network Security Automation Engineer

What you'll do

• Define and advance the organization's enterprise network security architecture and long-term cybersecurity strategy.
• Translate security requirements into scalable controls and automated governance capabilities for risk-based decision-making.
• Lead opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation, workflow optimization, and engineering-led solutions.
• Promote the adoption of Policy-as-Code and Process-as-Code to improve governance effectiveness.
• Establish repeatable and automated methods for evaluating security controls and policy compliance.
• Lead initiatives to leverage AI-assisted workflows for complex analysis and security outcome improvements.
• Serve as the technical authority for network security design across data centers, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop metrics and measurement frameworks to demonstrate security control effectiveness and governance maturity.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in network security engineering or network infrastructure security.
• 8+ years of experience securing AWS, Azure, GCP networking, Kubernetes, containerized infrastructure, and software-defined networking.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, network protocols, packet analysis, VPNs, and micro-segmentation.
• Ability to serve as a technical authority for network security architecture across data centers, enterprise networks, and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience defining metrics and measurement frameworks for security control effectiveness and governance maturity.
• Experience developing AI-enabled automated approaches for policy evaluation, security governance, compliance validation, or risk analysis.
• Experience implementing Policy-as-Code, Process-as-Code, or other engineering-led governance methodologies.
• Work authorization to be considered for this role.
