AI Automation Engineer - Network Security Governance
As a senior technical leader, you will join the team to define and advance enterprise network security architecture and long-term cybersecurity strategy. You will drive innovation by modernizing governance processes, translating security requirements into automated capabilities, and implementing Policy-as-Code and Process-as-Code methodologies. Your daily work involves leading AI-assisted workflows to simplify complex analysis and integrating AI-driven automation into network security control management. The role requires deep expertise in Zero Trust principles, Kubernetes networking, and software-defined networking across hybrid and multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will manage next-generation firewalls from Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, and Cisco, while utilizing IDS/IPS technologies, Wireshark for packet analysis, and various VPN protocols to ensure a resilient security posture across data centers and modern application environments.
Define and advance the enterprise network security architecture and long-term cybersecurity strategy.
Translate security requirements into scalable controls and automated governance capabilities for risk-based decision-making.
Implement Policy-as-Code and Process-as-Code to improve governance effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Identify and lead opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation and workflow optimization.
Lead initiatives that leverage AI-assisted workflows to simplify complex analysis and enhance security outcomes.
Establish best practices for integrating AI-driven automation into network security governance and control management.
Develop metrics and measurement frameworks to demonstrate security control effectiveness and governance maturity.
Serve as the technical authority for network security design across data center, cloud, and hybrid environments.
What we're looking for
Must have 8+ years of experience in network security engineering or network infrastructure security.
Must have 8+ years of experience securing environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and software-defined networking.
Must have 8+ years of hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS technologies, network protocols, packet analysis, and VPN technologies.
Must serve as a technical authority for network security architecture across data center, enterprise, and multi-cloud environments.
Experience developing AI-enabled automated approaches for policy evaluation, security governance, compliance validation, or risk analysis.
Experience implementing Policy-as-Code, Process-as-Code, or other engineering-led governance methodologies.
Experience in the financial services industry (preferred).
Work authorization to be considered for this role.
