Automation Engineer, Senior

What you'll do

• Integrate security practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Update and maintain Ansible automation across the enterprise environment.
• Guide the team in integrating new systems and components into the automation framework.
• Develop tools and processes to automate builds, regression testing, monitoring, and releases.
• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve automation issues using Ansible or PowerShell.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor and supervise team members to ensure project success.

What we're looking for

• HS diploma or GED.
• 6+ years of experience supporting DoD or government agencies.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, or resolving automation issues using Ansible or PowerShell.
• Experience with Ansible, Git, RHEL, and virtualization (VMware or Linux KVM).
• Knowledge of Agile development.
• Ability to develop tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, testing, monitoring, and releases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, CaC, containerization, Python, or networking principles (preferred).
• Secret clearance.
